SR Projects

I began my senior design capstone project began Spring 2017. Our team of 6 individuals is currently developing a smart watch app for nursing homes worn by the staff and residents. Currently the team is in the beginning stages of setting requirements and specifications based on the client. The overall goal of the project is to create a notification and communication system for staff and residents.

Innovative Power Systems

Summer 2015, I worked at Innovative Power Systems in St. Paul, Minnesota. As an intern, my role was Communications Manager. Throughout the summer I performed research and created a database for subjects concerning renewable energy.

Independent Study

Sophomore year of college, I began an independent study for the Sustainabiliity Engineering Minor. My research included working with Dr. Michael Elmore of Binghamton University on the State Universities of New York and their involvement with renewable energy, green power, and ecological/sustainable based research.
The final project consisted of a report, website, and a poster presentation at the University's Undergraduate Reseach Day.

November 2016, I traveled to Annapolis, Maryland to attend the 2016 Naval Academy Science and Engineering Conference (NASEC). The student who attended the conference were chosen by their Universities after completing an application. Students from across the United States gathered to listen to speakers on Energy & Alternative Fuels, Cyber Physical Systems, and Water & Sustainability.
The team I worked on concentrated on energy and alternative fuels and more specifically transportation. The final presentation can be found below.
